Aperture
This is a small keynote I put together
explaining the definition of aperture.

Mussel Man Photoshoot
This is a small photo shoot I did demonstrating the use of aperture in photography. I shot the photos of Mr Corker's Mussel men.

I could try to use photos of different scenes in the future. |
How Can I Improve My Work
To improve my work in the future, I will try to take photos of different scenes and not just the same one over again |
Shutter Speed
Shutter speed is to control the amount of time the shutter opens for, if the number is small it stays open less, if bigger then it stays open for longer. This can create frozen and blurred images just by changing the amount of light that gets in.
Above are some of the photos that I took at a high shutter speed, these are of my friend Sam shaking his head side to side (charming I know). By using a very high shutter speed, low aperture and a small studio light I was able to take clear photos even though they were of a fast moving object.
ISOISO is how sentience to light your camera is. Higher ISO settings are generally used in darker situations to get faster shutter speeds. For example an indoor sports event when you want to freeze the action in lower light. However the higher the ISO you choose the noisier shots you will get.

White BalanceEver noticed how photos might come out with a bluey or orangey tinge? This is white balance, it's when a picture comes out warm or cold (orange or blue). Its used in photos to basically show a summer or winter effect, but on a camera this can be negated to remove the coloration altogether. To use this white balance setting there will be a menu located on the dpad.

The Multi-photo workshop
In the multi-photo workshop we were given a sheet with several dozen boxes on, each of which contained instructions for a a different photo. All of the photos had to be of the same thing but in different scenarios. See if you can guess what they were!
A-Z ChallangeAfter about one and a half hours of wandering around and probably about one hour of painful Photoshop resaturisation, transforms and fill selects... I have this to show in heinz sight it could of been a little more. Maybe had a larger pallet but I still think its more than a starter and a important part of a full photography course.
Just thought I would add some text to break the tension...
